General Questions

  • The Gen7 Cash Rewards program is a customer loyalty program that earns you rewards that spend like cash at the pump.

    With your Cash Rewards card you’ll earn 2¢/litre every time you visit Gen7 locations and 2% cash back on select in-store merchandise.

  • It’s easy! Just ask an attendant for your Cash Rewards card and start earning cash back the same day. Once you have your card, go online to https://gen7cashrewards.com or download the Gen7 app to register your card to redeem your rewards.

  • No. Joining the Gen7 Cash Rewards program is completely free to join and there are no monthly fees to participate.

  • In order to redeem your Cash Rewards at a Gen7 location, you must have a minimum reward balance of $5 on your registered Cash Rewards account.

    Gen7 Cash Rewards cards that are unregistered will not be able to redeem any points at the pump until the card is successfully registered online or via the Gen7 app.

  • Gen7 Cash Rewards are loaded automatically onto your account with each transaction when the card is presented prior to payment.

    Paying at the Pump: Swipe Cash Rewards card at the pump prior to selected payment method.

    Pre-Authorized Payments: Present your Cash Rewards card or app in store when prompted by the attendant.

Earning & Redeeming Rewards

  • Cash Rewards are applied to your account automatically when you swipe your card at the pump and/or present the card or Gen7 app in store prior to purchase.

    Earn 2¢/litre on all gas and diesel purchases and 2% cash back in participating stores on select merchandise.

    For Gen7 Cash Rewards members, Tuesday is the best day to fill up your tank with 2X rewards on gas and diesel all day (4¢/litre).

  • Once you’ve earned $5 cash back on your registered Cash Rewards account, you can start redeeming your points at Gen7 stations. The attendant will prompt you to select the amount you’d like to redeem at the time of purchase.

  • You do not have to redeem all of your Cash Rewards at one time. As long as you have the minimum required rewards balance of $5, you can select the amount you’d like to redeem at the time of purchase.

  • Yes. Unregistered cards can still earn Cash Rewards on eligible purchases.

    However, you cannot redeem your Cash Rewards with an unregistered card. You also forfeit all rewards earned in the event an unregistered card is lost or stolen. Registering your card ensures that you’ll never lose out on earnings.

  • Cash Rewards earned on an active, registered account do not expire.

    Cash Rewards on an unregistered card do not expire but cannot be redeemed.

    If a Cash Rewards account is inactive (no earns or spends) for longer than 12 months, the account may be subject to termination by Gen7.

  • Gen7 Cash Rewards will not be issued on the purchase of the following items/services:

    • Gift Cards

    • Prepaid long distance and cellular phone cards

    • Items excluded by law

    • Other items specified as exclusions from time to time

  • Cash Rewards will be posted to your account immediately after purchase. In some instances, it may take up to 24 hours for your Cash Rewards to be added to your account.

    If your earnings have no been applied to your account more than 24 hours past the date of purchase, fill out the Support Request Form at the bottom of this page.

Gen7 Gift Cards

  • Gen7 Gift Cards are sold at every Gen7 station.

  • No. You can customize the amount loaded onto a gift card at the time of purchase.

  • Yes. You can use your Gen7 Gift Card at any of our fueling stations.

  • Your Gen7 Gift Car is reloadable. Visit any Gen7 location to top up your Gift Card at any time.

  • Gen7 Gift Cards never expire.

  • If you’ve lost your Gen7 Gift Card, fill out the Support Request Form and a Gift Card expert will be in touch as soon as possible.

  • You can request your Gift Card balance at any Gen7 station or online by entering the Card number and Ackroo Access code found on the back of your Gift Card.

  • For assistance with Gift Card transactions, balances, and all other inquiries, please fill out the Support Request Form on the bottom of this page. One of our Cash Rewards experts will get back to you as soon as possible to help.

  • No. Gen7 Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

Account Access & Security

  • Any personal information will not be shared with any sources outside of Gen7 and Ackroo Inc. for the purposes of administering the Gen7 Cash Rewards program. This information may also be used by Gen7 for marketing purposes or to notify participants of special promotional offers. Upon registration, you can choose to opt out of receiving promotional material from Gen7 .

  • No. Once a card has been de-registered the card is deactivated and is no longer valid for use.

  • Login to your account either online or through your Gen7 app. Click on “Profile” and you can update any personal information connected with your Cash Rewards account.

  • No problem. If you’ve forgotten your password, just click the “Forgot your password?” link on the Cash Rewards website or app login page. Follow the prompts to reset your password and gain entry to your account.

  • If you forgot the email address associated with your Cash Rewards account, fill out the Support Request Form and a Cash Reward expert will be able to assist you as soon as possible.

  • If the Gen7 app is deleted from your mobile device, your Cash Rewards and Gift Cards will remain on your account. To access them, simply redownload the app and login as usual.

  • To deactivate your Gen7 Cash Rewards account, fill out the Support Request Form and a Cash Rewards expert will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
